Eastern Spadefoot Toad
The Eastern Spadefoot Toad is a species of toads that are known for their large eyes, as compared to their relatively smaller bodies. Found in different parts of the Asian subcontinent, these toads are have two distinct subgenera.

Geographical Distribution – South of China, NE India, Southeast Asia, also found in the islands of the Sunda Shelf and in Philippines
Natural Habitat – In or around shallow ponds or fresh water bodies
